"The Mask of Greed" reflects a polarized society through the question, "Who decides our health" On one side lies entrenched poverty, where people lack the drive to care for themselves or seek opportunity, sinking into environments society has abandoned. On the other, ambition fueled by steady work and good health shapes a stable, hopeful life. The piece questions whether society's own greed wears a mask that conceals inequality, leaving individuals to bear their fate alone.
