Beneath the Choice
We are told to choose better. Yet desire can be designed, promoted and rewarded until it feels entirely our own. Above the surface lies a world of temptation, convenience and promise. Beneath it, the body carries a quieter truth, where the consequences of everyday consumption accumulate unseen. This work invites us to look beyond individual choice and towards the forces that shape what we desire, buy and consume. What appears to be personal choice is often shaped long before the moment of choosing, while its hidden price is ultimately carried by our bodies and society.
