A pharmacist turned banker, Mr. Pipit Aneaknithi is the Chairman Global Sustainability of KASIKORNBANK, integrating sustainability across the group, consolidating decarbonization, sustainable finance, and cross-sector engagement toward KASIKORNBANK’s “Bank of Sustainability” ambition, building on his tenure as President.
Joining during the late-1990s Asian financial crisis, he helped drive post-crisis transformations and digital strategy. He leads the rollout of the KASIKORNBANK Climate Strategy, orienting clients and value chains around three pillars—green operations, green finance, and climate/carbon solutions—to cut emissions, meet standards, and unlock growth. On the capital side, he mobilizes private and institutional funds for transition finance, convening market dialogues to turn sector priorities into investable theses and building alliances with global partners for domestic investors.
Following Chairman Emeritus Mr. Lamsam’s aspiration to restore Nan’s headwater forests, he combines finance and pharmaceutical expertise to design scalable, ground-up responses to deforestation. As a leading proponent of philanthropic and sustainable finance, he has helped lay structures that link capital and science to public benefits—especially in health, economic development, and nature-based solutions—ensuring people and forests can coexist harmoniously.
His efforts institutionalize sustainability as core architecture, empowering KASIKORNBANK to orchestrate cross-sector collaboration through innovative financial structures.
